Archangel Gabriel
First known to me as the Archangel who visited Mary and Joseph separately to let them know that Mary was pregnant and would give birth to a son, Archangel Gabriel is known as a Messenger.
Truth be told, all angels are messengers, or go-betweens, between humans and God/Source/Creator. They are a connection to Spirit because they are Spirit. They have never been human, but when we raise our vibration and they lower theirs, we can communicate with the angels.
Archangel Gabriel (or Gabrielle, whichever you prefer, as angels have no gender, only energy, and Gabrielle’s is a bit more feminine) is a Divine Angel of Communication. She is also particularly comforting to parents and parents-to-be. When I connect with her energy, I feel extreme love and comfort and can imagine her wrapping her gigantic wings around me to absorb my upset and protect me. And, because she is the Archangel of Communication, I work with her on every blog I write - including this one!
Gabriel’s message, historically speaking, has been FEAR NOT, I BRING YOU TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY! Her message is no different for us today. Our world is changing. We can do nothing to stop it, as the events are already in motion. What we can do is fear not.
Gabriel is asking us to put aside our fear. What is coming is much more wonderful than anything we can imagine, and those not of the light will not go silently, so we will see the mayhem. In fact, we already are seeing it as corruption and greed is being exposed. Our job is not to focus on the fear of what might happen, but to shine our lights as brightly as we possibly can. Gabriel is saying to focus on what we are grateful for: the small things and the big ones. Pray, meditate, and visualize daily the world you want to see. We are being asked to focus our energy on the positive: neighbors helping neighbors, lovingly taking care of the earth and everything on it, the infectiousness of laughter and joy, the unconditional love of a pet. This is so important right now.
Angels and Guides are here, helping us, but we are at a pivotal time and they are asking us to help them. Pray: gratitude and intercessions. Meditate: take time to breathe and be in the present moment for this is when you hear answers to prayers. Visualize: Imagine your ideal world -where the earth is healthy and whole, where people are taking care of one another and the earth, where world leaders represent those they serve and billionaires use their money to help the collective. Taking time each day will make a huge difference in how smoothly this transition goes, but either way, the end result is more beautiful than any of us can imagine.
