Archangel Raphael
Whether you’re looking for a master healer or help with travel, Rafe is your guy…but seriously, I want to share with you about this amazing angelic helper so that you can invite him into your daily life too.
Raphael translates to “God heals”, and there is no doubt in my mind that Archangel Raphael has touched your life in one way or another - probably regularly. This angel is there helping every person who is in a healing profession: all types of doctors, dentists, technicians, health practitioners, energy workers, parents, and many, many more. I know, as a reiki practitioner, that when I am invoking angelic power and healing at my sessions, that Raphael is there shining his green healing light wherever someone needs it most.
Archangel Raphael doesn’t just help the healers among us, but also those who need healing…so, ya know…EVERYONE. You can ask Raphael to heal what ails you and however, wherever, whatever is in alignment with your soul’s path and purpose to be healed will be tended to. Sometimes we need the extra help of a healthcare provider and Raphael is a wonderful resource for that too. Two years ago I was looking for a chiropractor in my area, as a couple of car accidents over the decades took a toll on my neck and spine. I asked Archangel Raphael for help finding the right chiropractor for me as I looked through the dozens of “ chiropractors near me” in my Google search. I ended up with Dr. Jill, who is a fantastic chiropractor and also spiritual, like me! I recommended her to my friend. Dr. Jill, in turn, referred my friend to see a cranio-sacral specialist nearby, who just happened to be the mom of one of my former girl scouts. I had always liked this lady, but our girls went to different middle schools, high schools, and colleges, and we hadn’t seen each other for years! However, thanks to the joy of this juxtaposition, my friend was talking about me at her cranio-sacral appointment (and perhaps because I was born in the era of “Jennifers and Lisas” and “Margaret” tended to be a name for women about 40 years older than me, they quickly figured out that they both knew me.) The cool thing about this was that I was able to reconnect with my acquaintance and discover we have so much in common now that we quickly became friends. What I’m taking such a long time to say is that Archangel Raphael didn’t just help me find an amazing chiropractor. He helped my friend find an amazing chiropractor and an amazing cranio-sacral therapist, and ultimately, he helped me to connect with someone who has become a good friend and spiritual mentor. The benefits of asking Raphael for help are still healing me today, but in very different ways than helping me with back and neck pain.
Besides healing, Archangel Raphael is also the angel to help with ease of travel. From the moment you know that you’re going to go somewhere, start thanking Raphael in advance for good ticket or lodging prices, short queues, luggage making it in one piece, staying healthy, a seat mate to talk to or one who will sleep the whole trip (whichever you prefer). I’ve found that wearing green on travel days can really bring Archangel Raphael’s energy close. One thing to be absolutely sure of, when summoning travel help, is that if something impedes the “ease”, there is a seriously good reason for it. Perhaps you’re being delayed to keep you out of harms way? Maybe there’s someone you’re supposed to meet? Whatever the hiccup is, thank the angels for looking out for your highest and greatest good, and then be open to it. The more you are aware that angels love being employed by us, and if things aren’t going exactly to your personal plan, there’s probably a bigger, better, more rewarding plan at work.
